Jel Framework
JEL is an object-oriented JavaScript library built on top of the Prototype Framework and Dean Edwards' Base library.
It focuses on providing unobtrusive scripting behaviour for problems that web developers face every day, such as setting up client-side form validation and opening popup windows. It also substantially builds upon JavaScript's ability to work with the built-in data types Date, Number, and String.
